Well, everybody always asks about how I came to revert so I figured I would put it on here. It's hard to put everything into words, but I'll try my best.
For starters, I grew up and still live in an area where there is virtually no muslims. I never even heard of Islam growing up. But in 5th grade, I started telling everyone that I wanted to be a muslim when I grew up. haha I have tried to figure out where I even got the idea, but honestly cannot pinpoint anything. So there was an attraction there for quite a while.
Moving on to my high school years: Basically the best way to explain that is to say that I was probably one of the most lost people on the planet. I surrounded myself with the completely wrong type of people, which led to a lot of partying, gambling, a few run ins with the law, guns being pulled on me and being shot at, and well you get the picture; I was completely lost. Finally one day, I decided to begin looking for some answers. Being that I completely surrounded by 'christians', I looked there first. I wanted it to work so badly, but in the end there was just something missing. I briefly looked at some other religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and such. I then began looking into the Bahai faith. Everything had the end result though. Basically they all just left me with more questions then answers.
Now I used to take these 'find your religion' quizzes or whatever and Islam was always at the top of my list. I figured that I might as well at least take a serious look at it. And really from the first day I began researching and reading about Islam, it was like the whole world changed. It is really hard to explain, but it was like I finally found what I have been looking for my entire life. I dont think I ever really knew exactly what I was looking for, but I was looking for something. The greatest thing that has ever happened to me is Islam. Looking back, I truely feel like Allah was trying to show me the way but it was me that just wouldnt listen. Now, I just consider myself so lucky to be blessed with His guidance. Its like He showed me what could be waiting for me if I keep ignoring Him.

I wish I could really put into words about how truely blessed I feel and just exactly how much my life has changed, but I hope you get the idea.

Allahu Akbar!

anybody that is fake, biased media, being stabbed in the back, and green sour patch kids haha

This really reminds me not to overlook those deeds that I may often overlook. These guys have such a great message in their music. May Allah bless them!

This is for the sisters. You are all so beautiful.
