Date: 15 May 2008, 4:27 am / Mood: grateful

Your phone rings Just as you enter the bathroom and sit on the toilet. You answer;the Muslim greets you, "as salaam 'alaikum!" What do you do?
Zowja4you (15 May 2008, 11:45 pm):

I answer and announce I am in the bathroom and will call you back.

mohsinali (15 May 2008, 10:33 am):
It is not recommened in Islam to talk while u r in Toilet or taking bath...
Ejaazi (15 May 2008, 8:03 am):
I say "what's up" and then let them know that I am using the bathroom.
siecantik (15 May 2008, 6:41 am):

siecantik (15 May 2008, 5:48 am):

But if I did...
"Speaker Phone"
abumaalik (15 May 2008, 5:11 am):

modern technology call the type phone you go from room to room with AND into the bathroom, sometime as well, a CORDLESS PHONE. You take it in the bathroom for conveience, especially if one have to go badly and is expecting a call.

sheyma (15 May 2008, 4:33 am):

I usually return it. But I am not sure how islamically correct that is. I hate to explain that I am on the toilet! Anyway, I like you, sometimes bring it with me, especially when I am expecting a call.

BlueSajeda (15 May 2008, 4:11 am):

A civilised person does nothing in a  bathroom than the intented thing that he went in their for. Answering the phone doesn't even come into question, let alone answering an Islamic greeting.

UmmAisha (15 May 2008, 3:51 am):
one question... who has a phone in the bathroom? another question... why would you answer it when you're on the toilet? Couldn't you just call them back.
