My History
(Shortened version)
I was born in Sydney Australia on November 24th 1946, into a world that had just ended yet another War. My Mother was the daughter of a Coalminer; he died in a cave in. She was born in Sydney on 23rd November 1928. My father was a Naval Officer with the Royal Navy, based in Sydney Harbour. Seems they met at a Charleston Contest at the local Servicemen’s Club. She Won.
Shortly after I was born we all went to England.
When I was a year old, my parents divorced. Mother returned to Australia, leaving me with father.
I was placed into a Seminary School where I was taught Christianity later graduating to Theological College.
As a young person, I often questioned what I saw as contradictions between Doctrine and The Bible. Why the Commandments demanded Obedience and worship to God alone, yet I was required to worship in front of Statues, pray to Saints and to kiss the feet of statues of Jesus and Mary, (Peace be unto them). As I grew older and was teaching, I refused to teach and accept many of the Doctrines of the church. Shortly before Ordination, I was declared Heretic and excommunicated.
For forty years I wandered this planet, denying the Church and denying the existence of God. In that time I have seen War, Suffering and famine. I stood within the "Killing Fields" of Khmer, and wept for those I left behind. I have been a witness to man’s inhumanity towards mankind.I walked among the ashes of Auswitz and wept amomg the Poplars that now grow there, declaring "there is no God." I have also witnessed the Miracle of life, when I delivered two of my children.
I am the father of seven Daughters and one Son, grandfather to five Grand Daughters.
Nearly two years ago I started to read the Qur’an, hiding my new found beliefs from wife and family.
On the 25th May 2007, I walked into a Masjid and confirmed my belief by Publicly taking Shehada before an Imam as witness.
In doing so, I have lost all of my friends, and alienated four of my children. I pray that one day they to shall find what I have found, Peace in Allah (Subhanna wa Ta'ala).
I have been married twice. The first ended in divorce. We just did not get on together because of religious differences.
As for my second venture into the world of romance, after 14 years of believing we were happy. My wife decided a year ago, that she doesn’t wish to be together anymore. She abandoned us to pursue a life with her new partner. Since I am now Muslim, she says there can be no reconcilliation.
Quote:
"It is better to sit alone than to sit with Evil. It is better to sit with the righteous than alone" Bukhari
Yet, I have forgiven her.
On the 28th November 2007 our divorce became final.
I have always been faithful, and I have never raised my hand or voice in anger against my wife or children.
I am now a full time single parent, caring for my 16 year old Step-Son. He is not accepting of Islam, but accept me for what I believe.
Insh'allah I will find another, but one who is honest, faithful and Modest. One who will love for the sake of Allah(subhana wa ta'ala), and not for selfishness. On the other hand, I tend to be a bit shy about such things and have no idea how to go about it.

Employment History
Not necessarily in order, and some at the same time, i.e.; working two jobs.
I started work at the age of fourteen as a Gas Jockey in a country Petrol Station, where I became a virtual slave, mostly not getting paid, only food and board.
I have worked as a Custodial officer with the NSW (Australia), Department of Corrective Services; I have been a Farmer, Private Inquiry Agent, Corporate Investigator investigating financial fraud. Credit and Finance Manager, International Precious metals and Diamond Purchasing manager. Restauranteur, catering manager, and one or two things that I cannot mention.
For many years I acted as a Justice of the Peace, sitting on the Bench dealing with minor criminal matters, and dealing with Warrants of search and arrest.

Education
I was Educated firstly at an English Grammar School, and then at Goulburn high School. Leaving due to the death of my Mother. Actually I was kicked out of the Children’s Home, because she could not pay anymore. Entered Theology College to study for the Priesthood.

Travel
I have traveled the World by Motorcycle, including Eastern Europe.
Influences
Major influences are, my early childhood in post-war Britain, and as a witness to the Hungarian counter revolution in the 50s, Childhood experiences in Northern Ireland, and my work as a Counselor with the Poor and Underprivileged of our society. Those that Society would discriminate against for Economic reasons.
Motivation
I am motivated by my anger, at mans inhumanity to man,and by a life of Religious and political persecution.
Philosophy
My philosophy on life is that I love all Humanity. I may not love what they do, but that is not relevant. I recognize the weaknesses and strengths in the Human condition through years of interaction through my Therapy work. I accept that all Humans are different, but those differences make all humans equal in all things. No one is lesser or greater, we are just at different levels of understanding. From the poorest, to the richest among us, each person is deserving of acceptance and love.
My Motto:-
Violence is the last refuge of the feeble minded
*****************************
May Allah, subhanna wa Ta'ala, grant me patience and courage, to progress in my new life, in Islam.
My name used here Ibrahim Abdullah, Shall become my new name legally.
I live in Daisy Hill, a suburb of Logan City, Qld Australia.
Quote:
There are a group of people who have the reality of worshiping Allah alone, without partner, such that if they face any hardship, they immediately resort to Prayer & supplication without a second thought. These people will raise your IMAAN, with Allah’s permission, though they are very hard to find these days

I dislike Violence in any form. Whether it be verbal or physical violence. I also find it difficult to accept spousal abuse. I know what it is like to be on the receiving end. Yes, males can be victims as well, we just don't tell anyone.

LISTEN
Do you hear the gentle sighs?
The wind is shifting through the tree.
Do you hear the children’s cries?
Do shadows hurry past and flee?
Do you hear the beggar’s plea?
Reaching, plaintively, out to you.
Do you hear the shifting sea?
Or the sound of falling dew.
Do you hear within your mind,
Voices calling in the night?
Incoherent jumbled sounds.
They disappear with morning light.
Do you hear the voice of God?
Speaking softly to your soul
Sit in silence, be not loud
His words will make you whole
Do you hear Love’s sweet sound?
Love can drive away your fears.
When you feel that you will drown
Love will kiss away your tears
Listen, hear the earth is groaning.
Hear aloud her dying scream.
Listen, hear her teardrops raining.
Or do you think it’s all a dream.
