About Me:
Assalamu Alalikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh.
A new dawn has come...
A little about myself: I have been described as a "questor" having high capacity for caring, having an emotional face to the world, and having high sense of honor derived from my internal values. I'm more introverted (i.e. shy) than extroverted. I'm as sensing as intuitive. I'm more feeling than thinking. I'm three times more perceiving than judging. I'm clean and organized. I dislike chaos. I'm sort of a perfectionist. I value tradition. I'm somewhat realist. I fit in most places and I enjoy managing others. I respect the authority and champion self control. I prefer working hard; but, I don't like to stand out. I follow the rules and like to finish what I start. I'm resilient. I'm practical and I'm dutiful.
Seek contentment as it is the final goal and all means are subservient to it.
These are some of my personal and original Islamic calligraphy. All of these either repeat Allah many times or say Allah Akbar (Allah is the Greatest). Please let me know if these thumbnails are too small. JazakAllah Khairun.

Music:
(Updated 05/2007)
For some reason, I don't like listening to music regardless of it being Islamic or secular. However, that is not to say I don't like specific songs or listen to music while I drive. Some months ago, when my imam was sky-high I memorised some new suwar (plural: surah, chapter in Qur'an) simply by listening to each ayah 100 times, repeating 100 times, reciting 100 times. This was done all while driving. In-sha-Allahi wa Taala, I wish to do that again.
At this moment, however, my audios of interest stem from all genres and all cultures. Quite a diversified pallete, if you will.

You’re welcome!I hope all is well with you. I’m glad to hear you’ve enjoyed reading my mini- essay. Yes, i know the colour blue is indeed very awesome! It’s my favourite colour, and it’s obviously your favourite colour too! It’s a very unique colour; it’s the colour of the sky, sea and emotions. It’s really calming and it’s also pleasant to the eye. We have the coolest usernames in Muslim space. I will and always am a fan of the colour blue. And, by the way, you may be thinking does she also like lamas’? Erm... nope it was just a coincidence I do not intend to make users visualise a blue laama. Thinking about it the thought of a blue laama is actually daunting. And, i am also aware that it’s also used as a title for a Buddhist teacher. Nope, I am not a Buddhist; i just recently found out. If you speak Arabic or you’re familiar with Arabic words, and thought laama is my name, then you are sadly mistaken. It is not my name. I purposely switched the letters around, and if you look closely you can see my actual name (except it has an extra letter). I guess, the username: laamablue means that I am the rightful owner of the colour blue. But, i have to charge you for using that name. Lol. I’m kidding.
I never switch my computer on in the morning, but, inshallah I’ll shall make an effort to do so, tomorrow morning, and I’ll also leave a positive comment.
